Enhancing Critical Thinking and Speaking Skills

Building on the skills developed in the first year, the second-year program is designed for students who are ready to take their public speaking, debating, and leadership abilities to the next level. This advanced course challenges teenagers, ages 13 to 16, with a B2+ level of English, to delve deeper into complex topics, refine their argumentation techniques, and strengthen their leadership skills.

What is the teaching methodology used to teach English to children aged 12 and above?

In Year 2, students will:

  • Engage in more sophisticated debates on global issues, ethics, and current events.
  • Learn advanced rhetorical strategies to present compelling arguments.
  • Hone their leadership skills by taking on roles such as moderator or discussion leader.
  • Work on collaborative projects that require critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication.
  • Expand their ability to research, analyse, and present information with clarity and precision.

The most rewarding aspect of Year 2 is witnessing students step into leadership roles with confidence, leading discussions, inspiring their peers, and defending their viewpoints with poise. The course fosters an even stronger sense of community and encourages students to engage with diverse perspectives.

Students continue to grow through interactive activities, team challenges, and peer-led projects, developing not only their skills but also lasting friendships and networks.
